Forced in a tight latex suit, unable to use her paws she has to endure the painful walkies, the handler chooses to give on the cold floor he leaves her on in the end. As a result of the pain his pet seems to go through, it eventually forgets to focus on walking and therefore gets to wear the leash to encourage a faster crawling.
